En tu obra existe una fascinante tensión entre las esferas pública y privada, entre la tecnología y la humanidad, un tema recurrente en el arte surrealista moderno. ¿Puede ser algo que pretendas con tu ‘RED SERIES’?
‘Red Series’ nace con la intención de expresar mis gustos e ideas sobre el funcionamiento de la realidad desde un punto de vista personal pero también social. Tiene vibraciones de los años 50 principalmente ya que quiero enfatizar el sentido de romanticismo, integridad y belleza de esa época. Muchas piezas encierran diversos mensajes o historias que quiero compartir con el mundo.
Cómo se conecta esta pieza con las otras obras.
Es un mensaje de despertar como algunas de las otras piezas, para despertar del «ruido» constante que nos dejamos consumir diariamente con todo lo que los medios de comunicación social, TV, videojuegos etc.
Combinas con pericia elementos vintage con técnicas digitales modernas como el glitch. ¿Qué reflexión esperas provocar en el observador?
Utilizo el glitch para acercarme a un grupo específico de coleccionistas a los que les encanta esta técnica sobre todo.
El personaje contemplativo frente al televisor podría interpretarse como metáfora de reflexión sobre el consumo de medios y su impacto en nuestra percepción de la realidad. ¿Podría tener algún guiño personal contigo?
Hace poco me encontré en una contemplación personal de que mi trabajo y mi vida se consumen en su mayor parte sentada frente al ordenador o el teléfono móvil durante horas. La mayoría de las veces me pierdo en esto y me sentí insensible durante mucho tiempo, algo que no me gustó nada…
¿Qué opinas del compromiso del artista con la sociedad?
Un verdadero artista siempre transmite un mensaje que ha descubierto a lo largo de años de experiencia, dificultades y momentos de liberación. Aunque provenga de su propia historia.
A lo largo de tu carrera has experimentado con diversos medios y técnicas. ¿Hay algún medio o técnica en particular que aún no hayas explorado y que te gustaría probar en el futuro?
No, he utilizado casi todos los materiales posibles para crear desde joyas hasta carcasas de ordenador. Quizás alguna tecnología nueva que me encantaría integrar con mi tecnología artística, ¡y espero que en un futuro próximo!

In your artwork there is a fascinating tension between the public and private spheres, between technology and humanity, a recurring theme in modern surrealist art. Could this be something you intend with your ‘RED SERIES’?
Red Series was created with an intention to express my own likes and ideas about how reality functions from a personal but also social level. It has vibes from the 50s mostly as I want to emphasize the sense of romanticism, integrity and beauty of that era. Many pieces hold various messages or stories I want to share with the world.
How does this piece connect with the other works.
It’s a message of awakening as some of other pieces, to wake up from the constant «noise» that we allow ourselves to be consumed daily with all that social media, TV, video games etc.
You expertly combine vintage elements with modern digital techniques such as glitch. What reflection do you hope to provoke in the viewer?
I use glitch to approach a specific group of collectors who love this technique mostly.

I found my self recently in a personal contemplation that my work and life is mostly consumed by sitting in front of a computer or my mobile phone for hours at a time. Most of the times I am loosing my self in this and I felt numb for a long time, something I didnt like at all…
What do you think of the artist’s commitment to society?
A real artist always delivers a message that they discovered through years of experience, hardships and moments of liberation. Even if it comes from their own life story.
Throughout your career you have experimented with different media and techniques. Is there a particular medium or technique that you have not yet explored and that you would like to try in the future?
No, I used almost every material possible to create from jewellery, down to computer cases. Perhaps some new tech that I would love to integrate with my art tech and hopefully in the near future!
